‘Wound’ to vie at UVAQ in Mexico

Iranian short film ‘Wound’ is set to participate at the Festival Internacional de Cortometraje UVAQ in Mexico.

‘Wound’ will compete at the 14th edition of the Mexican event, the Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported.

The film is written and directed by Sahar Nourmanour.  

The cast members of ‘Wound’ include Vaniz Afzali and Alireza Labibian.

The festival will take place online and in-person in the city of Morelia.

The hybrid event will take place on June 14-18.

The festival screens works made by film students, students majoring in communication, animation, visual arts, multimedia and related majors, as well as independent filmmakers and professionals from Mexico and other countries.
